This page is currently a placeholder for future development. Last Resort Services Inc. maintains a "pay as you grow" philosophy towards business in terms of building out infrastructure. After 40+ years as a business analyst you would hope I would learn a thing or two. One thing I learned is that you do not build solutions until you have a challenge to resolve in your business process. This may sound intuitive but it is not. Keeping things simple is not how most larger businesses work. There is an insidious pressure to "modernize" for the sake of having the brightest and shiniest technology. Right now our vendors are being well served with a spreadsheet, email and the occasional phone call. Admittedly, we are a small company right now. I am optimistic that will change. When it does, we will roll out infrastructure as necessary. Over the years I have rolled out ecommerce solutions for a number of other companies and for all the changes in our abilities to buy and sell there is nothing new under the sun. I communicate to you what I have to sell in the most efficient manner (also providing information to assist in the buying decision) and you buy (or not).

Make no mistake, a good business plans for the future. I am currently building out the infrastructure Last Resort Sevice Inc., Lauric Foods, and New World Research & Development will need so that we can put such infratructure in place. Most every night I spend an hour or two after dinner writing new software or modifying existing applications to meet our needs. When it is needed it will be ready.
